Akrapovic Street Legal slip-on mufflers are built to meet the strict noise regulation requirements of the European Union while improving the performance of your motorcycle. Like all Akrapovic slip-on exhaust systems, it is designed for riders who want to upgrade the looks and performance of their bikes at an affordable price, without making a major modification.Measurements of the Akrapovic slip-on exhaust on the Honda CB1000R (without muffler insert):Power and Torque: This Akrapovic muffler offers a performance increase throughout the entire rpm range. At 9,550 rpm we measured 113.2 HP. The situation for the torque curve is similar, with the best results coming in the rpm range around 3,500 rpm and 6,500 rpm, where the dropout in the stock curve is filled. Please be mindful, these measurements were taken on Akrapovic's in-house SuperFlow dyno using a motor with fuel delivery modifications. You can expect greater power output increases with a proper fuel mapping done by a competent dyno technician for your particular machine!
