Our high quality CRL Hot Melt Butyl in Rolls are insulating glass sealant in rope form. They are made to use in our Hot Extruder Gun made by Hardman? or Triplematic. Cat No. N415 Hot Melt Butyl has a low moisture vapor transfer rate, excellent adhesion to glass and metal, up to 1,000% elongation, low shrinkage and high resistance to weathering and UV breakdown. Cools within five to 10 minutes after application to form a strong, resilient seal for insulating glass units. No gassing due to solvents. Shelf and work life is indefinite.
