Our polydioxanone monofilament synthetic absorbable suture is a sterile surgical suture prepared from the polyester, poly (p-dioxanone) and is ideal for internal tissues where a long-lasting, absorbable suture is preferable. DemeDIOX polydioxanone (PX) synthetic absorbable suture has been formulated to provide wound support through an extended healing period. Its absorption is essentially complete within 180–220 days. Since polydioxanone is composed of synthetic materials, it elicits less reactivity than natural absorbable sutures. However, due to its prolonged absorption period, polydioxanone may elicit some tissue reactivity. DemeTECH uses high-quality stainless-steel needles to ensure that every suture maintains exceptional strength and ductility. Every box of our sutures comes with instructions for use and 12 suture packs individually wrapped in DemeTRACK packaging. Do not resterilize. Discard open unused sutures.
