The Cleveland C16996 Jobber Drill features a parabolic flute with a wide land for enhanced chip removal and coolant flow. The drill has a 135-degree notched-point angle, providing self-centering and reduced pressure on cutting edges. Made from cobalt steel, it can run at faster speeds and stay sharp longer than high-speed steel tools. A titanium aluminum nitride (TiAlN) coating improves high-temperature drilling and abrasion resistance at high cutting speeds.
