Fischer . NV63019

The Fischer Junior Sprint Crown Cross-Country skis with tour junior bindings are an ideal setup for young Nordic enthusiasts who are looking for a well-made setup for skiing both in and out of the track. Built with a wood core, Fischer removes some air channels to save weight, and it also ends up making the ski more energetic and livelier. Nordic skiing is difficult by nature and Fischer does a great job in making it more accessible and fun for a bunch of young skiers. In the track, the skis and their relatively straight sidecut track nice and even, making the learning process a lot easier, and the kick and glide is efficient and smooth. The more you get practice at a young age, the better your technique and overall experience will be. In addition to the wood core, the Crown Tec base has sharp edges and an offset pattern that provides great grip that will help increase traction on the up. Those sharper edges also give your little Nordic skier more confidence if the snow conditions become slick. There are no metal edges on these skis, and sometimes it takes kids a few times out to adjust to the slipperiness of the skis. With an IFP plate, you can move the binding forward or back on the ski to generate more grip or more glide. This is a great way to fine-tune and customize the performance of your skis, and you'll appreciate how your kids will love changing up the character of their skis.
