The HDMI Modular Coupler is certified and support enhanced and high-definition video along with eight (8) channels of digital audio. They are a popular option for connecting high-definition televisions (HDTV) to Blu-ray players, and many other home entertainment devices. The coupler has female connectors on both ends to connect two HDMI cables. The conductors within each connector are made with 99.99% oxygen free copper which achieves a minimum 101% IACS conductivity rating.&nbsp; The terminal is composed of a copper alloy, covered by a concentric nickel plating. The nickel-copper alloy provides high corrosion resistance and outstanding mechanical properties. The terminal is then plated with gold to boast better shielding and eliminate oxidation. The coupler is designed to be snapped into any outlet with an available port; such as a faceplate or surface mount box. The housing of the HDMI Modular Coupler is available in white.
