You get the traditional feel of a semi-hollow along with the comfort of a small bodied guitar. The AM93 features a quilted Maple top, back and sides in the classic double cutaway style that Ibanez has been known for since the late 1970 s. The electronics schematic features a pair of Ibanez Custom 58 Humbuckers. You ll get tons of smooth, warm jazz tones with bottom-end to spare from the neck pickup, as well as having the option to switch to scorching high-end lead tones from the bridge pickup. The neck on the Ibanez AM93 is carved from a 3 piece Mahogany/Maple laminate into a comfortable, tapered profile which starts at a 20mm thickness at the 1st fret to a full 26.5mm at the 12th fret. The tapered neck will feel at home in your fretting hand. A bound rosewood fingerboard with luxurious block inlays and jumbo frets will facilitate total ease of playability. Rounding out the hardware is a gold Tune-o-Matic style bridge with a stop tailpiece to maximize tuning stability and will withstand even the most aggressive soloing.
