The body is also thinner, which makes the AEW23ZW more amplification-friendly and less prone to the feedback typically associated with acoustic instruments--the perfect choice for gigging singer-songwriters. To cater to the elegant aesthetics of the AEW23ZW, the top is adorned with a multi wood top purfling and remarkable wooden marquetry rosette that flaunts abalone and beautifully grained Zebrawood. A soft Florentine cutaway facilitates easy accessibility all the way to the 17th fret. The neck is carved from mahogany and features a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard with maple dot position inlays.When you're ready to take it to the stage, the Ibanez AEW23ZW comes performance ready with a Fishman Sonicore pickup and an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 active preamp that faithfully capture the guitar's natural voice. To shape your tone to perfection, the preamp features a bass, treble and volume control.
