A splendid, flowering plant for shaded areas, the leaves of this dainty perennial emerge a dark purple color in spring, then fade to bronze green in summer. In mid spring, delicate, soft purple flowers appear in profusion just above the leaves, continuing to bloom sporadically all summer long.
