- COLLECTIBLE - The American West was still an untamed expanse when the Indian Head Cent was first minted. Legend states that James B. Longacre used his daughter wearing a Native American Chief’s feathered headdress as his model for Lady Liberty on the obverse of the one cent coin. The Liberty Nickel features Lady Liberty surrounded by 13 stars representing the original colonies. The Buffalo Nickel was designed using a composite of Native American models for the obverse of the five cent coin.
- QUALITY & DETAIL - A collector's acrylic houses six genuine United States coins, with a view of the obverse and the reverse. This exciting set includes art showing a Native American in a headdress. The acrylic measures approximately 5 by 4 inches. Indian Head Cent, minted 1859 to 1909, and Liberty Nickel, minted 1883 to 1913, are guaranteed to be over 100 years old. The Buffalo Nickel was minted from 1913 to 1938. All dates are readable on coins and will vary in year and mint mark.
