The REDARC BCDC1220-IGN is a multi-stage DC to DC dual battery charger which features technology capable of fully charging a lead acid auxiliary battery. It's designed for vehicles fitted with an ECU-controlled variable voltage alternator. The battery charger is designed to work with an operating range of 9-32V and gives the option for charging from either 12V or 24V vehicle systems. Low voltage setting The BCDC1220-IGN has a lower voltage setting and will continue to operate with a low input voltage from the alternator. Should the voltage get too low, the unit acts as a dual battery isolator and protects the start battery.
