This Square D 9036DW31C commercial open tank float switch for use with water, hydraulic oils, and corrosive fluids activates pumps or sump-pumps and signals within a power circuit when certain fluid levels are reached. It is lever operated and mounts to the floor but can be mounted to a pedestal using a 9049UMS1 mounting (not included). It has 4 screw terminals, 2 cable entries, and 3/4"-14 conduit entry. This switch has a NEMA 4/7/9 enclosure for protection, contacts that close on liquid rise, and includes a compensating spring. Square D switches are manufactured by Schneider Electric.
