10uL Astral Inoculation Loop

Eliminates the hazards of an open flame and cross contamination associated with wire loops - 80% time saving over metal loops! This disposable system consists of a handle and inoculating loops. The handle pierces the aluminum sealing film, locks onto either the loop, and withdraws it from the chamber for inoculation. When process is complete, simply eject the loop and dispose of it. Reuse the handle. Sterile and ready for use. Easily and quickly inoculate prepared plates on the bench top, in a fume hood, or in the field. Astral loops may be used in quantitative procedures such as sampling, serial dilutions, and bacterial inoculation. Certified RNase, DNase, DNA, and pyrogen free. Sterilized by irradiation. Handle (included) may be repeatedly autoclaved. Case consists of 10 individually sealed racks of 96 loops. The disposable BIO PLAS Astral Inoculation System is color coded. and consists of the following; 10 uL blue Astral Loop. During manufacturing, these Astral Loops are inserted into racks which have 96 individual tubular chambers and then hermetically sealed with a thin plastic membrane. A dust cover is placed over this 96 chamber rack, heat shrunk and sterilized by irradiation. All Astral Loops are certified to be free of RNase, DNase, DNA, pyrogens and PCR inhibitors. Every case of 10 racks of 96 Loops is supplied with a free Astral Handle. The handle is designed to be used with one hand and will easily puncture the membrane attaching itself to the hub of the Astral Loop. It may then be withdrawn from its individual sterile chamber ready to be used for inoculation or streaking. When the inoculation process is complete, the Astral Loop may then be ejected off the Astral Handle and discarded. This easy to use and ruggedly designed Astral Handle may be autoclaved repeatedly, without damage.Procedures: All Astral Loops may be used in quantitative procedures such as sampling, urine counts, serial dilutions, and bacteriological inoculation.
