It is a completely flexible master recording and production station.</p><p><b>Live multi-cam has never been more portable</b><br />Monitor, record and switch between 4 live HD SDI video streams and one program stream for flexible in-the-field directing. Enjoy the freedom of asynchronous switching and gen lock in & out to connect to existing infrastructure. Atomos Shogun 7 offers up to HDp60 SDI ISOs x 4 recording. Once you've finished capturing your streams, just import the Atomos xml file into your NLE and your timeline populates with all your edits in place. Audio is also taken care of, with each ISO and program record, we insert the mixed analog stereo channels and embed 2 channels of digital audio in each recorded stream. The program stream always records the analog feed and switches between audio inputs for the on-camera audio to match the switched feed.</p><p><b>Single-camera storytelling in 4K, or 2K slow-mo</b><br />Capturing in 4K is now becoming a requirement for content streaming providers. With the latest HDMI 2.0v you can capture up to 4Kp60 on any available camera, or via Quad Link, Dual Link or Single Link. If slow motion capture is important to your production, Shogun 7 lets you capture 2K up to 240p. You can tag on-the-fly while recording for direct-to-edit look up in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere* and Avid Media Composer.</p><p><b>Atomos technology brings the real world to your monitor</b><br />Introducing Dynamic AtomHDR technology, designed by Atomos to yield a 1,000,000:1 screen contrast ratio. With the Atomos Shogun 7 blacks and colors are rich and deep. Images appear to `pop' with added dimensionality and detail. The incredible Atomos screen uses a unique combination of advanced LED and LCD technologies which together offer deeper, better blacks than rival OLED screens, but with the much higher brightness and vivid color performance of top-end LCDs. Objects appear more lifelike than ever, with complex textures and gradations beautifully revealed.</p>
AtomHDR image processing lets you shoot with the high brightness range of your camera's Log profile while maintaining vibrant true-to-life colors. Conventional monitors lack this capability, displaying the brightness detail of Log but with a washed out image that makes judging exposure difficult. Be at the forefront of the HDR revolution by having a field monitor capable of resolving HDR in the field as you see it in Post Production and record the original Log image direct from the sensor for HDR grading in post production.</p><p>The 10-bit panel resolves more colors (1.07 billion colors compared to 16.7 million for standard 8-bit panels) to ensure smooth color transitions in both HDR and SDR (standard dynamic range) shooting. The 1500nit panel brings HDR to life, accentuating high contrast scenes. While for regular SDR scenes, use the brightness slider to take advantage of the 1500nit screen for hood-free outdoor monitoring.</p><p>The AtomHDR engine not only lets you set perfect exposure in the field, you can take a HDR output in either PQ or HLG* standard to compatible HDR screens or accept HDR input from your NLE for mobile grading or for HDR connection from cameras with a PQ or HLG* output</p><p>Shogun Inferno combines high resolution recording, high frame rate recording and playback. Record Video from both HDMI and SDI cameras direct from the sensor to 4:2:2 10-bit ProRes or DNxHR up to an amazing 4K 60p or HD 240p*. Record Raw over SDI* up to 4K 30p either directly to CDNG or record to ProRes or DNxHR. Playback recorded ProRes or DNxHR files via the HDMI or SDI output at the same high frame rates to supporting monitors</p><p>Inferno features our patented continuous power system - a hot swappable dual battery system that automatically swaps to the second battery when power is low.
