The Xantech HL85BK LCD/CFL friendly Hidden Link IR Kit includes an HL85 table top infrared receiver, 1x4 connecting block and 4 IR emitters.

Native Carrier Frequency Transmission Circuitry
Nearly every IR system relies on a carrier frequency to "carry" the commands to their destination. Some consumer electronic devices, especially digital cable and satellite TV boxes, are very picky regarding carrier frequency accuracy. At times, they may not accept remote commands unless precisely the right carrier frequency is present.

Unfortunately, many IR repeater systems take a technical short-cut and simply strip away the carrier frequency upon reception instead of intelligently identifying and removing the unwanted noise and interference from it -- and then attempt to regenerate or replicate the carrier frequency. This can result in incomplete or incorrect IR signals and a lot of frustration and expense for a system designer.

Xantech takes no shortcuts here. Rather than trying to make a copy of the carrier frequency to compensate for inadequate parts and circuit design, Xantech uses better-quality components and circuitry that can accurately process the original carrier frequency. By doing so, a Xantech IR kit eliminates the noise and interference instead of the carrier itself, and transmits the original IR signal in its correct form to the rest of the system. The result is a dead-on accurate signal transmission -- minus all the noise and distortion.

The 282D Designer Emitter contains a tiny infrared LED housed in a miniature, designer styled, black appearing, injection molded plastic shell. It emits IR (infrared) control signals sent to it by IR receivers or other Xantech controllers. The 282D can be installed directly on the IR sensor window of the controlled device or other suitable locations.

The 283D Blink-IR Designer Emitter contains a small Infrared LED housed in a miniature, designer styled, black appearing, injection molded plastic shell. Unlike other emitters, the 283D emits visible red light in addition to IR (infrared) control signals when activated by IR commands sent to it by IR receivers or other Xantech controllers. The 283D is designed to be installed directly on the IR sensor window of the controlled device.

The RC68X programmer is a 55 key hand-held device that generates all the IR codes necessary for the set up and operation of Xantech IR remote controlled products. Such products include models ZPR68, RAT1, MIRV1, GATEKEEP-IR, etc. The RC68X is an upgrade of the previous 32 key RC68. While providing additional key-code command capabilities, it retains all previous RC68 programming in a similar 32 key layout section on the keypad.

The AC1 is a control voltage switched outlet. It can be used for AC power management with the control output of any low voltage DC source (5-30VDC).

The Micro Link IR Receiver is a small peep-hole style infrared repeater assembly. The Micro Link IR Receiver is equipped with a 7-foot cable and a 3.5mm stereo mini plug, which is plugged directly into the "IR RCVR" jack on the connecting block, such as the models 789-44, CB60, and 791-44. The Micro Link IR Receiver is primarily intended for use in installations where the connecting block is within reach of its 7-foot cable - as when installing the Micro Link IR Receiver in a cabinet where the controlled equipment is behind closed doors.

The Xantech 28DES is a black (IR opaque) 1" x 2" shield that fits over both the Xantech Designer Emitter body and the IR sensor window of a controlled component. An optional accessory, it prevents unwanted external IR signals frompassing through it or leaking past it.

The 28DES also prevents IR from the Designer Emitter from radiating backwards into the IR sensors of other components. It is especially useful for zone controlled applications where you want the equipment controlled only by the Designer Emitter fastened over the component IR sensors.

The Xantech CPL10 RF/IR Coupler is used to extract or inject IR control signals when used in conjunction with a TV coaxial RF cable. The CPL10 has two "F" type coaxial jacks and one IR out (or in) 3.5mm mono mini jack.

The Xantech HD44CC5 four-source, four-zone high-definition matrix switcher has component video and S/PDIF digital audio inputs for each source. All four zone outputs have component video output and S/PDIF audio output for economical local distribution up to 250 feet, as well as a RJ45 output for transmission of the video and digital audio signal up to 1000 feet to the HDRXSG01 receiver (required) located in the zone. Both coaxial component video output and CAT-5 output are active simultaneously, making it possible to distribute four sources to eight outputs at the same time. The unit is expandable up to 16 zones.

Please note: The HDRXSG01 receivers are sold seperately. Given the release year of this unit ( 2009 ) you will need to check with the manufacturer to see if the receivers are still available.

The Xantech Premium Video over IP (VIP) platform distributes HDMI video over a 1GB Network switch using visually lossless technology. The XT-4K-VIP-ACM Advanced Control Module allows advanced third-party control of the system using TCP / IP, RS-232 and IR. The XT-4K-VIP-ACM includes a web interface module for control and configuration of the system and features `Drag & Drop' source selection with video preview and independent routing of IR, RS-232, USB / KVM, Audio, and Video. Xantech drivers built into each product's firmware simplify product installation and negate the need for an understanding of complex network infrastructures.

The new 95 and 85 series IR kits from Xantech feature five significant advances in IR control to achieve their remarkable sensitivity, performance and reliability in a wide variety of installation environments. Xantech is the only manufacturer building an IR product line around this level of advanced circuit design. IR is a crucial control "backbone" in nearly every A/V system installation, and Xantech is committed to IR that works perfectly every time which demands such a no-compromise approach. If it is an IR problem and Xantech can't solve it, nobody can. All Xantech IR series kits feature advanced circuitry which passes the native IR carrier and data signals faithfully and reliably to ensure proper control of all A/V components. Premium kit for high-end and custom installations requiring the ultimate in IR control.95-series works with remotes up to 120 feet away. Compatible with all types of TV's including plasma, LCD and LED, and all satellite and cable TV boxes. Works wtih CFL lighting. These small IR receivers have been designed for mounting in very small spaces. They may be mounted under shelf edges, cabinet ledges, in wall speakers, etc. - anywhere an inconspicuous appearance is desired. The high sensitivity of these receivers allows placement behind speaker grilles and still receive IR commands up to 120 feet away.

Xantech CC12 is an IR Remote Controlled Double Pole Double Throw Relay Module. It provides dry contact closures to satisfy a variety of uses, such as activation of screen drops, projector lifts, etc. The switching is accomplished by way of infrared commands originating from a Xantech RC68+ Programmer (or RC68 Programmer). It can also be switched by a DC voltage applied between the CI (control input) and GND terminals. The RC68+ commands are "taught" to learning devices and passed to the IR IN, and GND input terminals of the CC12 signal input terminals via Xantech IR Receivers, Keypads and Connecting Blocks.

The CC12 can be used in any application that requires dry switch closures activated by IR commands or by a DC control voltage; up to the capacity of the DPDT 5A/30V DC relay. Some of the more likely applications would be to activate video projector lifts, screen drops, drape pulls, etc., in home automation systems.

Xantech PS12-0.5 is a 100-240V 12VDC power supply.
